They don't care about their customers.Keith Baxter was horrible.

Always threatening to take our home away if we didn't like it.Every time we had a problem he would tell us he could take our home away.

Worst builder EVER!!!!For all future Plantation home owners.

Please think twice before building a Plantation home. We have had many problems with Plantation homes from day 1 of construction. They would tell us they would fix things and would never fix them. They would come back with the "well, this is a man made product." I get that it is manmade product, but it should still meet certain levels of quality.

We got a low end home for a high end price. Through the whole build process we were always told by Keith Baxter (Plantation MHI sales rep.) after having to contact corporate for assistance to correct the multiple non addressed issues, which were also ignored by Chris Terhune, you know we can pull the house from you at any time. We were told this numerous times. We still have a number of issues they continuously refuse to fix.

1. Our back yard was never leveled out correctly before sodding it. So, now we have numerous holes throughout the backyard. 2.

Wood flooring was damaged throughout the build process and day of closing. At that time flooring company was there to fix but once we left, everyone left and nothing was fixed. They tried to buffing areas in an attempt to fix the scratches in the front entry & office but simply faded and discolored the floor. ( Seen & told flooring company to replace but never done).

We were assured the flooring would be fixed but never were, but also told that if we didn't close they would pull the house from the us (by sales rep.) Upon entering a our new house we noticed right away That non of the flooring was replaced. Multiple tickets have been submitted, flooring company has been out, multiple calls made to corporate with no resolution. After only 6 months our high end wood floors are cracking & flicking. "Top quality floors!." 3.

Our water lines were run out on our back porch. As soon as we had a freeze the water lines freeze. We reached out to the builder and they told us that is the normal way they run water lines. We have checked many other homes in the community and none of them are like this.

After fighting with the builder and getting no where we reached out to the plumbing company and they admitted it was wrong and their guys got lazy when installing. So, they did finally fix them but we did all the work to get them fixed. 4. Our butler pantry had no outlet.

When we inquired they said it was not suppose to per the plan. We went to the city and were told if there is a counter top it had to have a plug. So, they had to go put a plug in. A plug was finally installed on the end of the counter where a child can easy reach a power cord or insert any object into it.

We have spoken to the builder in regards to our safety concern for a child, etc. but have only said you got a plug there. Since we informed the builder of the requirement they have since place an outlet in the correct position for every house being built at the time and since then. All items we plug there, power cord or device can easy be reached and pulled down by accident.

The builder came back stating that the city was wrong & were incorrect in telling us so. Ask your self why is this outlet now installed in every house butler pantry counter space since we informed them of the city code? Was the city wrong, really ? Since they know of all build code and enforce them!

We can post the multitude of issues we have been fighting since before and currently are but it would be to long of a post. Scheduled repairs and never showing up, telling a customer in a frank manner take it or leave it, or it is what is.

Frankly don't waist your time with Plantation / MHI for the over head cost vs the other builders at this community, look at other options. You don't have to take our word for what we have written here, but we are definitely not the only un-happy Plantation home owners in our community!
